URSOILL Living Labs
Collaborative Hubs for Sustainable Urban Soil Restoration

URSOILL establishes a network of five Living Labs (LLs). Located in in Sweden (Humid Continental), Spain (Atlantic), Italy (Alpine), Greece (Mediterranean), and Luxembourg (Continental), the labs represent Europe’s diverse climatic and socio-economic contexts. They serve as real-life, interactive innovation-ecosystems where local authorities, scientists, representatives of the civil society and the private sector come together to develop, test, and implement solutions for urban soil restoration. The Living Labs promote co-creation processes that ensure outcomes are scientifically sound, socially inclusive, and economically viable.
